FRC Team 8788, the Special Forces Ballistabots, is a high-energy robotics team known for precision engineering, strategic gameplay, and relentless teamwork.

FIRST® Tech Challenge students work together with their mentors to design and build robots to compete in a dynamic and exciting challenge released every September.

Teams program classroom-scale robots to follow autonomous commands before student drivers take control in two-on-two matches. 

On and off the field, students develop STEM skills, engage in community outreach, practice engineering innovation, and build confidence to help them succeed.

Ages 12 - 18

FIRST Robotics Season runs from September 1, 2025 through April 30, 2026. Summer activities include classes that build on engineering and coding skill and an technology related community service project.
